  1. REMINDERPRO HELP: OVERVIEW

  3. ReminderPro 3.5 is basically a reminder program. It allows you to schedule the following:

  5. 窶｢ Reminders
  6. 窶｢ Launching of applications
  7. 窶｢ Opening of documents
  8. 窶｢ Reminders sent to pagers
  9.  
  10. Whenever you schedule a reminder, or an application launch, or opening of a document, it is called a scheduled item.

  12. Components of ReminderPro
  13.  
  14. ReminderPro 3.5 has primarily two components, the system extension and the application.
  15.  
  16. The system extension resides in the Extensions folder inside the System folder, and is loaded automatically every time the computer starts up. It is what displays reminders at the appropriate times.

  18. The application is what you use to schedule items, to change scheduled items, or to remove scheduled items.
  19.  
  20. ReminderPro 3.5 also has a third component, the control strip module. If the system software version on your computer supports the control strip, you can use this component to schedule reminders quickly, without requiring to launch the application. This component resides in the Control Strip Modules folder inside the System folder.

  22. Hardware/System Requirements

  24. ReminderPro 3.5 can run on any Macintosh or Power Macintosh computer. It is accelerated for Power Macintosh computers.

  26. ReminderPro requires System 7 or later.
